At Sutton Park we offer a wide range of extended services to our children and parents. We ensure that our families have access to a number of services and facilities within the local area.
The children are offered a broad range of activities including study support, sports clubs, music and special interest clubs in order to extend their learning opportunities and skills. In most cases these activities take place during the school day, at lunchtime or straight after the school day, on the school site.

Sutton Park works in partnership with other academies in the umbrella trust and in the wider Bransholme and District Learning partnership. This provides the children opportunities to work with children from the wider community. As part of our sports partnership the children have the opportunity compete against other schools in a wide range of sports. The children also have the opportunity to play in the Bransholme Orchestra and the Bransholme choir.
The children also have the opportunity to use the facilities and resources at the two local secondary schools to extend their learning in modern foreign languages, science, swimming etc.
The partnership has a Bransholme Pupil Council where the children have the opportunity to organise events across a range of schools such as Bransolme in Bloom and Let’s Celebrate Bransholme.
Wrap around childcare
The school offers a breakfast club from 8am available to all children in the school’s main hall. Children can have breakfast – cereal, toast, milk and fruit juice and engage in a wide range of activities including table tennis and table top football.
After school we have a Kids HQ Club – children need to be booked in as places are limited. The kids Club starts straight after school until 6pm. Children will be collected from any after school clubs they attend.
As a school we encourage parents and carers into school as often as possible. We offer workshops for parents in a range of subjects to support them and to provide vital information in relation to education and any recent developments. We also invite parents and carers in on a regular basis to learn alongside the children in our family learning sessions.
